Join in ahead of this weekend’s Mosen at Large. Your iOS 15 thoughts, adventures in Android, and Ed Green from the Blind Android Users podcast
Kia ora Mosen At Largers.
It’s another techy edition of the podcast this week, but not exclusively so.
As you’d expect right after a major iOS release, we have plenty of comments, some of them glowing, a few with questions or concerns. There’s still room for your feedback. If you’ve been using iOS 15 for a few days, what are your likes and dislikes about the latest update?
I’m not buying a new iPhone this year, but if you’re getting one, I would like to live the experience vicariously through you. Let us know what you got, why you chose the model you did, and whether it’s worth it for you. How did the set-up and transfer of your data go?
I may not have a new phone starting with I, but as I mentioned last week, I have a new Samsung Galaxy S21, and I’ll give you some more thoughts on it now that we’ve had a little more bonding time. Have we bonded at all?
If you’ve wondered what it’s like over in Android land, you won’t want to miss my extensive discussion with Ed Green. Ed is from the Blind Android Users podcast, and he used an iPhone for about 10 years. Then to give him something to do during the Pandemic, he switched to Android and hasn’t looked back after several unsuccessful attempts to do so in the past. SO, what does he like and is there anything he missing about not having an iPhone anymore? Tips on apps, launchers and devices, it’s all covered. It’s an informative discussion.
There’s plenty of Android listener feedback this week as well, keep it coming.
As usual, there’s a wide array of blindness and technology topics from listeners on which you may like to comment once you hear them.
If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. What makes Mosen At Large special is the global community we’ve built and all the perspectives we share with each other.
