This week on Mosen At Large, we’ve got the scoop on an exciting assistive tech announcement, plus more explorations of iOS and Android

Kia ora Mosen At Largers. This week, Mosen At Large has been given the scoop on an assistive technology announcement in the mobile space that I think will make many blind people very happy, whether you use Android or iOS. I’ll be joined by Troy Otillio, CEO of Aira, and Mike May from Goodmaps. All being well, you’ll be able to download what they’re announcing immediately. I’ll also make the most of the opportunity to see if I can tease out other things in the pipeline for both companies. Asking the difficult questions is one of the fun bits of being at large, you see.

People are still coming up to speed with iOS 15, and there are some great comments and questions this week.

I have more adventures in Android as I continue to put my Samsung Galaxy S21 through its paces, and other Android users chime in with useful hints and tips.

As usual, there’s a wide array of blindness and technology topics from listeners on which you may like to comment once you hear them.

If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. What makes Mosen At Large special is the global community we’ve built and all the perspectives we share with each other.
