Coming up this week on Mosen At Large, gadgets aplenty at the Consumer Electronics show, Apple has broken Braille in iOS yet again, and a post-holiday catch-up

Kia ora Mosen at Largers. I have had a wonderful replenishing break, but after a lot of down time I’m now feeling super creative again and looking forward to hosting this forum where we discuss the issues important to the blind, low vision and DeafBlind communities.

I’ll fill you in on some of the interesting things that took place during my summer holiday. There’s a lot to keep me going for several episodes, but this week I’ll tell a story of abysmal customer service that caused me to switch mobile carriers.

Braille was broken in iOS 15.2 with frequent lockups for many, and nothing appears to have changed in the just released 15.3. A listener expresses the frustration and concern that I am sure many of us are feeling.

I’m joined this week by Mike May and Gena Harper, both of whom visited the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Mosen At Large Twitter account has been tweeting a lot about items of interest from the show, but there’s nothing like hearing some personal accounts of some of the gadgets that caught Mike and Gena’s attention.

If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. What makes Mosen At Large special is the global community we’ve built and all the perspectives we share with each other.

To contribute, send an email with an audio attachment or just written down to Jonathan at MushroomFM.com, or call the listener line, +18646066736, that’s 1-864-60Mosen.
