Coming up on Mosen at Large 192, Waymap promises to address the shortcomings of GPS, struggles with Siri, and more on abuse at schools for the blind

Kia ora Mosen at Largers. Here’s what’s coming up in our next two-hour show that’s got the blind community talking.

There’s some listener feedback coming in following my conversation with NFB President mark Riccobono last week.

More listeners are speaking up about their harrowing abuse stories at schools for the blind around the world.

A couple of episodes ago, we heard from a listener having trouble with the erratic Siri, and notifications not being delivered. It looks like he is not alone.

I’ll speak with Tom Pey, CEO of Waymap. Waymap’s technology claims to deal with some of the pesky problems of GPS technology. It’s navigation technology is going live on the Washington DC transit system right now, and they have big plans for the future. We’ll discuss what this technology has to offer. If you’ve used it, let me know what you think of it.

There’s plenty more on the show as well. If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. What makes Mosen At Large special is the global community we’ve built and all the perspectives we share with each other.
